In three decades, the Dammam-based company has also diversified the range of services, it offer to include procurement, pipeline construction management and inspection for the refining and petrochemical industries, to meet market demands and clients requirement.

From its offices and workshop in Dammam, MQE operates a fleet of modern heavy equipment, including cranes, excavators, vacuum tankers, compressors and welding equipment to provide services which comply with the stringent quality standards demanded by Saudi Aramco.
MQE's formal Quality Assurance System focuses on the identification of project requirements, documentation and implementation of the project to the clients' satisfaction.
MQE's pipeline maintenance services cover both oil and gas pipelines and include fabrication, installation, grit/sand blasting, painting/coating/wrapping, repair/reconditioning of bulk storage tanks and repair/maintenance of wellhead manifolds.
Its advanced pipeline inspection services include internal geometry, corrosion and crack detection, leak detection, tailor-made inspection systems and tank floor inspection.
The company also carries out testing services which include hydrotesting of valves, fittings and pipeline, welding testing NPT, NDT & X-rays testing for pipelines.

Since 1988, MQE has been the sole agent in Saudi Arabia for German pipeline inspection specialist H Rosen Engineering GmbH. Under the agreement, MQE is able to provide onshore and offshore inspection of pipeline of between 4-inch to 56-inch diameter, covering corrosion and cracks, leak detection, tank bottom inspection and other tailor-made pipeline-related services, using the latest technologies and equipment.
MQE draws upon the global presence, pipeline inspection capabilities, R&D potential, flexibility and highly skilled staff of the Rosen Group.
Saudi Aramco has for many years benefited from MQE's cutting edge expertise, including among some reconditioning services on water injection flow lines at Udhailiyah, Hawaiyah, Hermaliyah and Shedgum.
MQE's project experience also covers Khuff gas well sites, water injection headers, water injection pump stations, water supply flow lines, oil and gas flow lines, and cathodic protection systems.
