Geyad, established in 1980, has grown over the years to become one of the leading steel fabricators in Saudi Arabia.
It set up its first fabrication plant in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. And in 1994, the company launched its 16,875 sq m second fabrication plant under the name of “Geyad Factory for Pressure Vessels and Steel Buildings” in Dammam’s Second Industrial City to meet the increasing demand of the structural steel industry.
Geyad is also developing new fabrication facility for pressure vessels located in Dammam Second Industrial City.
In addition, Geyad has obtained another land to launch its fourth facility in the near future to fulfil the increasing demand in steel fabrication.
The total area of the three facilities is now 60,000 square metres.
The company is registered with SGS Yarsley International Certification Services Limited for ISO 9001. It is accredited with the prestigious certificates of authorisation and code symbol “U” and “UM” stamps from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). Additionally, Geyad is a holder of “R” and “NB” stamps from the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors (NBBI).
M/S Al Nasser Industrial Enterprises of the United Arab Emirates joined Geyad as partners in 1999.
Al Nasser Industrial Enterprises is a part of Al Nasser Holding Group established in 1992 which has seven operating ventures in steel melting, PE rotomoulding, SMC panel steel rolling, oil spill absorbents, pet bottles and transformers.
Geyad is a team player in the Aramco mega projects Hawiyah/ Khursaniyah and others.
It is currently providing 4,000 metric tonnes of major structural steel to JGC for the Hawiyah NGL project.
It is also providing 1,300 metric tonnes of structural steel to Snamprogetti for the Hawiyah NGL project.
The company is also providing 6,500 metric tonnes of structural steel to Snamprogetti for the Khursaniyah NGL project.

Products
Providing a comprehensive design and detailing facility for steel structures, tanks and pressure vessels, utilising most recent and up-to-date design technology software, Geyad has performed prestigious work throughout Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries.
GCI operates strict Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures for its manufacturing processes.
These procedures include the following:
Quality Management System (QMS) internal audits, which are carried out by certified external and internal auditors. These auditors are qualified in accordance with the rules of International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA).
Welding inspection and other related works, which are conducted by Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI). These inspectors are qualified by the American Welding Society (AWS).
In-house Non-Destructive Tests like Ultrasonic Test (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and Penetrant Test (PT), which are performed by certified Level - II inspectors.
These inspectors are qualified in accordance with the guidance of the American Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT).
Manufacturing processes include: Plate rolling up to 25mm thick and 2.5m wide; machining operations; plasma cutting; oxyacetylene cutting; arc welding; MIG welding; TIG welding; SAW welding; hydraulic pressing up to 200 tons; drilling / reboring up to 76mm diameter; plate shearing up to 16mm thick; angle bar, flat bar, round bar, cropping and punching; radial drilling and blasting/painting.

Structural steel: All kinds of structural steel buildings, pipe racks, equipment support structures, duct work, buckstays, chimneys and stacks according to AISC manual for steel construction and European standards.
Pressure Vessels: “U” and “UM” code symbol stamp pressure vessels in accordance with Sec. VIII Div 1 standards of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
Repair and alteration of pressure vessels with “R” code symbol stamp in accordance with the standards of the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessels Inspectors (NBBI).
“NB” code symbol stamp to register “U” stamped pressure vessels with NBBI.
Storage Tanks: For oil, water, and chemicals according to API 650, API 620, UL-142 and ANSI / AWWA D100-84 standards.
Pipe Spools: According to ASME / ANSI B31.1, B31.3 standards and as per customer’s requirements.
Miscellaneous Steel Items: Such as handrails (straight and stair), ladders (with and without safety cages), gratings, chequered plates, stair and stair treads, buckstay holders and electrostatic precipitator components.
