Project Status
February 2018: Saudi Aramco is planning to broaden its pool of LTA (long-term agreements) contractors for offshore projects.


Project Scope
The scope involves the Rehabilitation of offshore facilities and the construction of new platforms. The details are as the following:

The scope of contract for Abu Safah, Safaniya, and Berri fields under McDermott International includes:

• Infield flow lines

• Flexible laterals

• Power and control cables

• Sleds

• Three intra-field pipelines totalling 26 km, 34 km of subsea power

• Fiber optic composite cables

• A total of 4.5 km of flexible pipelay Fourth phase of Safaniyah project includes:

• Steel jackets for 10 new wellhead platforms and nine decks

• Offshore pipelines and cables

• Demolishing existing wellhead structures and installing replacements Planned work at Marjan and Zuluf involves:

• Seven decks, four of which are for Marjan

• 46km of 16-inch pipelines

• 31km of 15 kilovolt subsea cables

• Topsides fibre-optic cables
