ADVANCE VALVE Group, the India-based valve manufacturers, have inaugurated a new production facility in Abu Dhabi, proving their continual growth and burgeoning success.

A professionally managed company, Advance is promoted by Uma Shanker, a Gold Medallist in Mechanical Engineering with Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), and employs a multitude of nationalities in different disciplines in its three plants located in Noida near Delhi and has a turn over of over Rs.100 million. The group started its operation in 1986 with the introduction of Balancing valves in the Indian market.
In 1990, the Group expanded its operations to the manufacturing of Dual Plate Check Valves as per API-594.In 1995, the Group has further expanded its operations to manufacture Butterfly Valves with integrally molded liner design. The Group boasts state-of-the-art design, engineering, manufacturing and quality assurance system and obtained ISO 9001 accreditation in 1997, and has a foundry unit to meet its requirement of non-ferrous castings.
All ferrous and non-ferrous castings including cast iron steel, stainless steel and other alloy steels are procured from well known and approved foundries in the country with capacities committed to the Group.
Joint venture forged
Advance Valves has entered into a joint venture agreement with Gunric Valves manufacturing (Pty) Ltd of South Africa to supply double eccentric metal seated butterfly valves to the Indian Market.  The Group has also signed Multi Project Acquisition (MPA) agreement with Bechtel Corporation to supply wafer check valves for all Bechtel’s global projects.
The Group’s products are approved by major consultants and users in the field of oil and gas, production and processing, chemicals, petrochemicals, fertilisers, metallurgy, power both fossil and nuclear, HVAC and R and water supply and treatment schemes, public health engg. and irrigation.
Spreading its wings even wider, a new manufacturing facility of Advance Valves was inaugurated in Mussafah, mainland Abu Dhabi, UAE by Mohammad Omar Abdullah, Director-General, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and H.E. Sudhir Vyas, India’s Ambassador to the UAE.
Advance Valves has joined hands with Technical Parts Company of Abu Dhabi, putting to use the manufacturing infrastructure of their sister concern, M/s C&J Engineering, a leader in the field of Mechanical Engineering Services. Both these companies are a part of the Bhatia Brothers conglomerate.
Christened as Advance Valves Global -  Middle East Operations, the focus of this facility is to  provide  At-your-Door step  Service to the customers in the Middle East.
This unit will cater to local as well as GCC and other Middle Eastern  markets in diversified sectors such as oil and gas, petroleum, power and water amongst others. The infrastructure in India will feed this facility with Inputs, technology and process.
This would be the first facility to manufacture such products on UAE soil. The combining of valve technology from Advance Valves, the market knowledge of Technical Parts Company, and the Engineering facilities of CJE brings together a synergistic fusion of skill-sets to meet the emerging and stringent demands of the oil and gas industry of the Middle East.
Serving its customers globally with strong presence across the globe in USA, France, UK, Singapore, South Africa, Brazil, Saudi Arabia with offices and warehouses, and a manufacturing facility in Abu Dhabi, UAE; the 5th plant of the group in India which is the master feeding plant to the international clientele was formally inaugurated on the 18th of June ’04.
Christened as Advance Valves Global, this facility has been strategically located in the Noida Special Economic Zone, at the outskirts of the capital city of New Delhi.
Though this facility has been operational for a year with regular exports, including about half a dozen container shipments to the international clientele, it was formally inaugurated under the auspices of the Development Commissioner of Noida Special Economic Zone, Government of India, Nutan Guha Biswas.
The inauguration during the day and a tour of the facilities was followed by a celebration in the evening at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. It was graced by the participation of well-wishers and elites from various esteemed organizations like EIL, IOCL, BHEL, PDIL, NPCIL, Samsung Corp., Delhi Metro Rail Corp., ETA, KSHI-JV, Samho Gunyoung Co. Ltd., Voltas, Blue Star Ltd. and other deemed consultants of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning group.
Adding to the infrastructure base of Advance Valves of 2 facilities in Noida, 1 facility in Himachal Pradesh, and 1 facility recently commissioned in Abu Dhabi, UAE, the facility Advance Valves Global is one of its kind.
 Building on the foundation laid by the Government of India to promote and nurture growing exports, this facility has been strategically located in the Noida Special Economic Zone, the erstwhile Noida Export Processing Zone.
 Supporting and consolidating the presence and growth of the group in the international markets, this facility spans an area of 4000 sqm. The facility is a fully equipped plant for processing the high technology valves from the Advance Valves’ product profile, for specialised applications in the oil and gas, refineries and petrochemical, power, water and sea water, fertiliser, steel, and HVAC sectors internationally along-with basket of high quality valves from other proven sources.
 The truly world class equipment at the plant includes fully automated CNC machines, large size valve processing equipment, and sophisticated testing equipment including a cryogenic test facility which can achieve temperatures as low as -196°C, all as per the stringent standards of the global engineering giants.
 With the convenience of being located in a Special Economic Zone, this facility is able to procure and process high quality materials and accessories from the international market at competitive prices. Advance Valves Global thus is also able to provide and service truly world class products to the domestic market without customers going thru’ the import procedures.
 This facility even further reinforces the position of Advance Valves among the ‘Big 5’ globally and will embolden our forceful participation in most challenging market places all over.
