NMDC Group has signed five strategic agreements with international and regional partners to advance collaboration, technology and local manufacturing across the energy and marine sectors during ADIPEC 2026, held in Abu Dhabi.
The Group signed a
long-term cooperation framework with the China Chamber of Commerce for the
Petroleum Industry (CCCPI) to explore opportunities in bilateral supply chains,
fabrication and energy infrastructure.
In the marine sector,
NMDC Dredging & Marine, Teledyne Marine and SITECH Gulf UAE established a
tripartite partnership focused on advanced marine survey technology, subsea
equipment support and hydrographic innovation.
NMDC Infra also signed
a strategic cooperation framework with Tekmar to localise subsea asset
protection and stabilisation solutions in the UAE, including the local
manufacturing of concrete mattresses and subsea sleepers, technology transfer
and skills development.
Meanwhile, NMDC Energy
entered into a strategic MoU with e& UAE to advance digital transformation
and introduce smart energy and industrial connectivity solutions across its
operations.
In a separate
agreement, NMDC Energy partnered with Borouge International to explore the use
of advanced pipeline coating solutions in major regional energy infrastructure
projects.
Dr. Yasser Zaghloul, Group Chief Executive
Officer of NMDC Group, said: “ADIPEC 2026 came at a time when resilience
has moved to the top of every boardroom agenda, and our message throughout the
week was clear: resilience is built long before it is needed. In our fiftieth
year, we demonstrated how an integrated model, our own fleet and yards, and
practical AI working alongside experienced engineers give our clients greater
certainty across complex projects. The partnerships signed this week will help
localise critical capabilities in the UAE and strengthen our subsea, survey,
and digital expertise. For us, growth has never been about size alone; it is
about the capability we build and the value we create together, proving that
our collective resilience leaves us ready to seize new growth opportunities in
the new normal.” -OGN/TradeArabia News Service
