Intech Automation & Intelligence, a globally industrial automation and digitalisation technology company, has been awarded a contract to deliver an integrated digital twin-powered energy and emissions intelligence solution for a leading petrochemical producer in KSA.

This will enable the client to monitor its carbon footprint, comply with SEEC’s regional requirements, and progress toward its assigned global carbon emission reduction and sustainability goals. 

The project comes at a critical time as Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Energy, through the Saudi Energy Efficiency Centre (SEEC), continues to advance industrial energy efficiency in line with Vision 2030 and the Saudi Green Initiative (SGI).

For the client, an energy-intensive industry operator, this means moving beyond periodic audits and manual reporting toward continuous, data-driven energy management supported by real-time monitoring, structured sustainability KPIs, and actionable optimisation insights. 

Intech’s scope includes engineering, configuration, integration, testing, commissioning, training, and support for an enterprise-wide digital platform that combines AspenTech Digital Twin and Seeq industrial analytics to provide real-time energy and emissions monitoring, predictive operational insights, optimisation, and automated sustainability reporting. 

Through this project, Intech strengthens its position as a trusted digital transformation partner for energy-heavy industrial operators in the Middle East, combining nearly three decades of automation, IT-OT integration, process data management, and industrial analytics experience to deliver scalable enterprise digitalisation programmes.
