Ketjen Corporation and Aramco Technologies Company (SATC) have entered a joint development agreement to co-develop next-generation fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) catalysts and additives.

The collaboration aims to enhance Aramco’s refinery performance by optimising yields of high-value products like gasoline and propylene while reducing environmental impact.

By combining Aramco’s operational expertise with Ketjen’s advanced R&D and manufacturing capabilities, the partnership seeks to accelerate development of proprietary FCC solutions.

The agreement leverages both organisations’ technical strengths to deliver precision-engineered catalysts that improve efficiency, resource utilisation, and environmental stewardship, positioning them for industry-leading advancements in refining technology.
