ACHEMA is a global benchmark for the chemical industries

The GPCA Research and Innovation Conference will return for its 8th edition in 2026, following the 2022 edition.

ACHEMA Middle East will debut from October 26–28 at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC) in Saudi Arabia, bringing ACHEMA’s century-long expertise in chemical engineering, process technology, and applied industrial science to a region undergoing rapid industrial diversification and downstream expansion.

The event will be held under the patronage of the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and supported by ASAS.

For over 100 years, ACHEMA has been a global benchmark for the chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, laboratory, and process industries.

Its launch in Saudi Arabia extends this role across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia (MEASA), offering a full-scale exhibition and conference platform that connects international solution providers with regional manufacturers, policymakers, researchers, and technology leaders.

Organised by Messe Frankfurt and powered by DECHEMA, ACHEMA Middle East aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s industrial development agenda, promoting localisation, advanced manufacturing, sustainability, digitalisation, and long-term investment across sectors including chemicals, energy, pharmaceuticals, food, water technologies, and advanced materials.

The exhibition spans six core product groups and features six innovation themes: Process, pharma, lab, digital, green, and energy innovation.

These will be delivered through CPD-accredited conferences, technical sessions, and expert-led discussions addressing electrification, bioprocessing, AI-enabled operations, circular economy models, and cross-disciplinary solutions for modern industrial challenges.
