Burckhardt Compression, a leader in reciprocating compressor technology and systems, has secured multiple orders to supply compressor solutions for LNG terminal projects in Thailand and Taiwan.
The orders include
eight Laby compressor units for boil-off gas (BOG) services and one unit for
minimum send-out service, supporting safe, efficient, and low-emission LNG
handling.
LNG terminals require
flexible operations to manage fluctuating demand, with compressors playing a
key role in handling boil-off gas generated during cryogenic storage.
Its Laby technology
features an oil-free, contactless, gas-tight design that enables near-zero
emissions, high efficiency, and reduced maintenance needs in demanding LNG
terminal operations.
Andreas Brautsch, President Systems
Division, said: “These orders
demonstrate the continued demand for reliable, efficient LNG terminal
infrastructure in Asia-Pacific. We are proud that customers across these
strategic LNG projects have selected our solutions to support safe operations
and strengthen energy supply security - while improving the environmental
footprint of boil-off gas handling.” -OGN/TradeArabia News Service
