Wartsila has secured an order to supply 412 MW of engine power for a new hyperscale data centre in Ohio, using 40 Wartsila 34SG engines. 

This first use of the 34SG in data centres adds to Wartsila’s US market a total of over 1.6 GW. 

The engines offer high efficiency, reliability, low water use, and modular scalability up to 500 MW, ideal for AI driven facilities. 

Deliveries target early 2028, enabling off grid operation and rapid deployment. This marks Wartsila’s fourth US data centre order.
