Lhyfe, a pioneer in green hydrogen production, has conducted the first tests of green hydrogen combustion as a replacement for fossil gas combustion in Spain’s Valencia region.

The first experiment, which involved mixing combustion gases and gradually increasing the proportion of green hydrogen as a replacement for natural gas, was successfully deployed in the ceramics sector.

Lhyfe’s mixing kit, developed by the company, can now be replicated in other sectors using combustion.

The company’s first delivery to the Iberian Peninsula was made in just three weeks, demonstrating its ability to adapt to customers’ decarbonisation needs.

Lhyfe is also working on several projects in the Iberian Peninsula, including a 15-MW project in Vallmoll, Spain, aimed at decarbonising industrial players, particularly in the chemicals sector and mobility.
