
Insurance industry professionals believe it’s vital for insurers to offer green or environmentally friendly insurance products, as consumer demand for ethical and sustainable offerings increases.
A poll by GlobalData found that 41.9 per cent of business executives deemed it very important to offer green insurance products, while 30.5 per cent considered it unessential.
The survey also revealed that 53.1 per cent of respondents believe insurance companies have a role in tackling climate change.
Consumers are willing to pay more for policies with strong ethical, sustainable, and environmentally friendly commitments.
