The Petroleum Commission in Ghana is focusing on upstream development, with 17 oil and gas projects set to be developed by 2027.

The country is also pursuing a promotion, marketing, and revenue-sharing agreement with the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) for data from the Voltaian Basin.

The Commission has also engaged with the Ghana Upstream Petroleum Chamber to address regulatory compliance, local participation, and investment barriers.

The country’s upstream portfolio is expanding, with new projects and brownfield developments.
