The Kuwait Digital Transformation Oil & Gas Conference showcased the importance of public-private collaboration in advancing digital transformation across Kuwait’s energy sector.

The event highlighted the growing role of technology partnerships in achieving operational excellence, safety, and sustainability.

Hosted under the patronage of Tariq Suleiman Al-Roumi, Minister of Oil, and Sheikh Dr Nimr Fahad Al Malik Al Sabah, Undersecretary, Ministry of Oil, the 2nd edition was held on September 8-9, 2025, at the Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa.

The event, supported by the Kuwait Oil Company, Equate Petrochemical, and Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company, attracted over 530 senior executives, 40 expert speakers, and 26 sponsors.

In the keynote remarks, Sheikh Dr Nimr affirmed Kuwait’s determination to accelerate the pace of digital transformation.

He said: "The Ministry of Oil has made digital transformation a strategic focus of its institutional plans, not only as a tool for improving performance and streamlining procedures, but also as a key entry point for enhancing transparency, increasing the efficiency of government services, and developing the decision-making system."

The conference agenda included discussions on cyber resilience, intelligent drilling systems, AI-enabled HSE performance monitoring, and digital solutions for national energy operations.

The conference also featured case studies from technology leaders and energy innovators.
