Lhyfe, a leader in green hydrogen production, has launched its first commercial site in Schwabisch Gmünd, Germany.
This facility, Lhyfe’s fourth overall and first outside France, produces up to 4 tonnes of renewable hydrogen daily through water electrolysis.
The hydrogen will primarily decarbonise heavy-duty mobility, powering around 100 trucks daily without carbon emissions.
Lhyfe has secured renewable electricity from local producers and features modular facilities for efficient production and distribution.
The project, funded by Baden-Wurttemberg and the EU, aims to develop a hydrogen economy in the region and meets EU sustainability standards.
