Project Status
Qatar Petroleum (QP) is planning to build a new refinery in Messaied.
As of July 2007, Technip has won the combined FEED and PMC package on the refinery project. The FEED is expected to take 12 months and construction a further three years. The contract is estimated to be valued at $60 million.
Project Scope
The scope of work consists of the construction of a new refinery with a capacity of 200,000 bpd.
