A new Aromatics Production Complex (APC) is due to be commissioned in Bahrain by 2020, Oil Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa revealed.
He announced the expected commissioning date after leading a delegation to Kuwait, where talks on bilateral oil and gas co-operation were held with Kuwaiti Amir Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah at Al Bayan Palace.
The delegation also met Kuwaiti Crown Prince Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah and Prime Minister Shaikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Sabah, during which the planned Aromatics Production Complex in Bahrain was discussed.
The complex is a joint venture between Bahrain’s Nogaholding and Kuwait’s Petrochemical Industries Company.
