GreenBiz 27 focuses heavily on commercial execution

Over three-days, the GreenBiz 27 conference aims to equip energy managers, and sustainability practitioners with the practical framework, operational strategies, and technical tools necessary to accelerate enterprise decarbonisation and strengthen supply chain resilience.

The event is being organised by Trellis Group at the Gaylord Pacific Resort and Convention Centre in San Diego, US from February 23-25.

With more than 2,000 corporate sustainability executives expected to gather in California, the conference programme focuses heavily on commercial execution, capital allocation, and transitioning corporate decarbonisation strategies from long-term target-setting to measurable operational implementation.

The key focus areas include navigating complex Scope 3 emissions, engaging value chain partners, executing hard-to-abate industrial emissions reduction, and deploying advanced data, reporting, and artificial intelligence tooling to secure competitive advantage.

A dedicated energy programme will address energy management challenges, providing delegates with datasets, technical tools, and commercial frameworks to construct energy strategies that balance decarbonisation targets with operational affordability and long-term reliability.

Concurrently, sessions covering the business case for sustainability will address monetisation strategies, corporate finance integration, and risk management models designed to justify capex to chief financial officers.
