Eastern Morris Cranes (EMC), a joint venture company between Saudi Arabia-based Al Zamil Group and Germany’s Stahl CraneSystems, is an approved manufacturer for Saudi Aramco, supplying EOT (electric overhead travelling) cranes, hoists, jib cranes and gantry cranes ever since its inception in 2001.

"We are producing world-class cranes in Saudi Arabia," says managing director Frank Hildebrandt of Eastern Morris Cranes, which is located in the First Industrial Area, Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

The company, which has a manufacturing facility in Dammam, is fully aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Saudi Aramco iktva 2021. EMC has already registered with the initiative and got audited with a progressive score, he says.

Till date EMC has supplied thousands of cranes, manufactured locally to increase local content, thereby supporting Vision 2030.

The cranes supplied within Saudi Arabia is supported with full-fledged aftermarket services with spares stocking and instant response to service calls. "We also take annual service contracts and shutdown services for better operation of cranes," he says.

Being ISO certified and with an HSE system in place, it is EMC’s strategy to train its customers, employees and Saudi nationals on operation, maintenance and repair of cranes.

Customers can avail of the company’s certified test weights and testing engineers to do crane testing and certification as well, he says.
