Factory of USG Middle East (USGME), a leading manufacturer of ceiling, interior finishing and drywall partitions, aims to grow year-on-year on the strength of higher sales triggered by a massive demand for building and finishing materials in the Saudi market.

“We are achieving this goal in both local and export sales,” says Musbah Moqbel, Regional Manager, Marketing from USGME.

Having expanded its local operation further by adding new lines for specialty ceiling production targeting Saudi Arabia, he adds: “We have a strong export sales presence in the GCC countries. Besides, we are supporting the Saudi economy and its 2030 Vision to improve non-oil exports.”

Headquartered in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, with a sales and distribution network across the region, USGME has been associated with energy giant Saudi Aramco ever since it was established in 1984.

The company supplies acoustical ceiling systems including tiles and suspensions, drywall assemblies for wall and ceilings including gypsum board and metal framings and interior finishes for Aramco’s projects.

“Aramco is considered as the norm setter in the region and we are following its updated building materials standards,” USGME’s Moqbel adds.

Regarding Aramco’s IKTVA programme, he says: “We are in the final stages of registering the Factory of USG Middle East to the IKTVA program, created to encourage the development of a diverse, sustainable, and globally competitive energy sector in the kingdom.”

Vision 2030 focuses on the younger generation. “We’ve made positive changes to be in tune with the vision,” he adds.

USGME’s products are supplied to more than 25 countries through its 3 regional manufacturing plants aside from its affiliate in Oman, and a wide network of sales and technical offices and distributors. Its product range is trusted for use in homes, offices, hospitals, schools, universities, cinemas, and retail spaces as well as in many of the world’s most iconic projects. All of USGME products are in compliance with industry’s ASTM/EN standards.
