In a multi-year agreement worth millions, Petrasco will provide Dubai Petroleum Establishment (DPE) logistics support for five offshore Dubai fields, an onshore gas field, pipelines, and support services.

Petrasco’s work will be complemented with the support from its other international offices in the energy hubs of Aberdeen (UK) and Houston (US).

The company’s strategic partner, Middle East Tubular Services (METS), will also provide dedicated support throughout the duration of this contract.

The global provider of logistics solutions to the energy industry has operated in Dubai for almost 20 years and, following a recent restructure of its senior leadership team – which added considerable Middle Eastern experience, its management now possesses more than 90 years’ collective in-country experience.

Petrasco established its Dubai operation in 2003 and, following continued growth, commissioned the building of an oilfield logistics hub, which was completed in 2010.

It offers a one-stop-shop for equipment, ranging from overflow solutions to supporting companies that have downsized, backed up with specific, local knowledge of the wider Middle East region to help clients mobilise quickly and cost-effectively.

The company’s Dubai site in the Jebel Ali Free Zone covers more than 180,000 sq ft and offers office, warehouse, yard, and Dutch barn covered storage facilities with all required handling equipment on-site. It also has an additional 100,000 sq ft of yard storage offsite.
