Bosch is introducing two Hybrion PEM electrolysis stacks as a modular container solution for electrolysis systems, with an output of 2.5 megawatts.

The stacks are part of an electrolyser supplied by FEST, Germany. Bosch aims to apply its fuel-cell expertise to hydrogen production, aiming to achieve economies of scale and reduce costs.

The stacks can produce up to 23 kilograms of hydrogen per hour, enough for a 40-ton truck with a fuel-cell powertrain to travel 250 to 300 kilometers.
