AVTL to develop terminal in India

AVTL has announced a positive investment decision to build a greenfield terminal for 132k cbm LPG and 318k cbm liquid products and an LPG bottling plant in Mumbai’s JNPA port.

This is AVTL’s second terminal in the port, aiming to grow its market share in India’s industrialised and fast-growing hinterland.

The terminal is expected to be commissioned in phases starting mid-2026.

The full investment of EUR170 million ($198 million), including Vopak’s share of EUR70 million, will be funded by AVTL.

Vopak is a 42.23 per cent shareholder in AVTL.
