Intersec Saudi Arabia, a platform for security, safety, and fire protection, has formed a collaboration with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) for this year’s Fire Protection and Technology Summit.
Intersec Saudi Arabia will take place from September 29 to October 1 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre, organised by 1st Arabia and licensed by Messe Frankfurt.
Established in 1896, NFPA is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to preventing fire-related deaths, injuries, and property loss through over 300 codes, standards, research, training, and advocacy.
On 30 September, NFPA will lead a series of expert sessions focusing on critical themes such as protecting GIGA developments, building human capital in fire protection, and navigating new fire safety regulations.
The event will kick off with keynote speeches from NFPA representatives and Saudi Civil Defence officials.
Curated by NFPA and chaired by Zahi Daher, the Saudi Country Manager of International Business Development, NFPA Day aims to unite government, industry leaders, and stakeholders to discuss emerging challenges and strategies for creating resilient communities.
The sessions will highlight the vital role of standards in fostering innovation and public safety, providing practical insights into NFPA standards, certifications, and training tailored to Saudi Arabia’s needs.
The day will conclude with a networking session, facilitating connections and potential partnerships among stakeholders to enhance fire and life safety across the Kingdom.
The Fire Protection and Technology Summit showcases the future of fire and emergency response, featuring international leaders and addressing challenges in Saudi Arabia.
Key highlights include a panel discussion on how advanced technologies, such as AI and IoT, are transforming fire detection and prevention.
The final day of the summit, 1 October, will spotlight women reshaping the fire protection landscape in Saudi Arabia while emphasising the importance of training the next generation of fire safety experts.
