Endress+Hauser fully acquires CodeWrights

Endress+Hauser, a global leader in measurement and automation technology, has become the sole owner of the software company CodeWrights, located in Karlsruhe, Germany.

The acquisition of the remaining 33 per cent of shares from Pepperl+Fuchs, a manufacturer of sensors and electronics, took effect on 1 July.

Since 2002, Endress+Hauser has held a two-thirds stake, while Pepperl+Fuchs owned the remaining third.

CodeWrights was established in 2002 as a joint venture between the two companies and currently employs nearly 50 people.

As a service provider, CodeWrights specialises in developing customised software solutions for the measurement and automation technology sectors, including apps, cloud applications, industrial automation software, and e mbedded software for devices.
