Kent has collaborated with Equilibrion to secure funding from the UK Department for Transport’s Advanced Fuels Fund (AFF) for the Eq.flight project, a demonstration plant for power-to-liquids (PtL) Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

Kent is delivering the pre-front-end engineering design (Pre-Feed) for the plant, which aims to showcase a highly integrated UK-based PtL SAF pathway using local electricity and heat inputs. While simulating nuclear-enabled energy sources, the demonstration will validate system per-formance and operational integration for future commercial projects.
