The forum aims to advance exploration across Arabian Nubian Shield
The Egypt Mining Forum (EMF) 2026 will take place from September 28-29 at The St Regis New Capital, Cairo, showcasing the geological potential of the Arabian Nubian Shield and Egypt’s exploration opportunities, policy reforms, and strategic direction.
Hosted by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources with the support of the Mineral Resources and Mining Industries Authority, the forum is the region’s premier platform for investment, policy dialogue, and industry collaboration.
EMF 2026 convenes ministers, policymakers, mining executives, investors, and technology providers to accelerate exploration activity, advance project development, and unlock new discoveries.
The Strategic Conference will spotlight high-potential exploration regions, practical risk mitigation strategies, and structural measures to ensure a sustainable pipeline of commercially viable projects.
Aligned with Egypt’s Vision 2040 and its goal to increase mining’s contribution to 6 per cent of GDP, the Forum emphasises partnerships across gold, base metals, phosphates, rare earth elements, and other strategic minerals.
The Technical Conference will focus on mine operations, operational excellence, and applied engineering solutions that drive productivity, safety, and long-term asset value.
With over 5,000 attendees, 300 delegates, 100 exhibiting companies, 80 speakers, and 20 sessions, EMF 2026 offers international operators, investors, and service providers strategic insights, policy clarity, and direct access to decision-makers shaping the future of mining in Egypt and North Africa.
