Huawei has launched its Luterra Smart String Grid-Forming ESS Platform, introducing a battery storage solution designed for plant-level grid-forming applications. 

The platform combines high-efficiency battery management, thermal control, and silicon carbide technology to improve performance and integration with renewable energy systems. 

Huawei said the solution has been validated through projects including the Red Sea renewable energy microgrid in Saudi Arabia.
