Wartsila has joined the MatH2 consortium, a Business Finland co-innovation project led by VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, to develop hydrogen-compatible materials and technologies.
The multi-sector initiative aims to address material reliability challenges, including hydrogen embrittlement and corrosion, to support safer and more cost-effective hydrogen storage, transport, and infrastructure development.
The consortium brings together 10 industry and research partners across the hydrogen value chain.
