Denholm Pipetech expands Norwegian operations

0/0

Denholm Pipetech, a subsidiary of Denholm Environmental, has invested more than £500,000 ($668,311) to expand its operations in Norway, strengthening its presence in the Norwegian Continental Shelf and North Sea markets.

The flow remediation specialist, founded in Stavanger 26 years ago, has moved into a 950-sq-m facility in Sandnes, featuring offices, a workshop and yard space.

The site will enable Pipetech to deliver pipe and process cleaning services locally, including its Aqua Milling technology and high-pressure water jetting for removing wax and hard scale.

The investment also includes upgrades to the facility and vehicle fleet, as well as new equipment for Norwegian energy clients.

A NORSOK Z-015-compliant pump is due to be delivered for the offshore market, capable of supplying 182 litres per minute at pressures of up to 1,020 bar.

Pipetech has also appointed Henning Petersen as Norwegian Sales Manager.

A Norway native with more than 10 years’ experience in the regional oil and gas supply chain, Petersen will lead local business development and support Denholm Environmental’s expansion.
