Metacon has launched a compact 20-MW multi-level alkaline electrolysis module for large-scale hydrogen production. 

The modular design reduces space requirements and simplifies installation, maintenance and expansion. 

Compared with conventional building-based solutions, it offers potential savings of up to 30 per cent on steel structures, 50 per cent on piping systems and 70 per cent on area-related infrastructure, depending on project scope and site conditions.
