Zamil Offshore has contracted Conoship International to design a shallow-draft Dive Support Vessel for Gulf subsea operations.

 With a maximum draft of 2.5 m, the 76.2-m vessel will feature DP2 positioning, diving systems, ROV capabilities and a 20-tonne crane.

 Its optimised hull and diesel-electric propulsion aim to reduce fuel consumption while maintaining operational performance and meeting ABS class rules and SPS Code requirements.
