Oxford Flow, the flow control equipment specialist for oil, gas, water and industrial process industries, has opened its new manufacturing facility in Oxford to fuel its ambitious growth plans.

The state-of-the-art facility is based at Cowley, closely located to Oxford Flow’s headquarters. At 6,000 sq ft, the space is around six times larger than the previous workshop facility, with capacity for up to 30 employees. The new facility will ensure product quality, timely delivery and customer satisfaction all meet Oxford Flow’s high standards. In addition, the larger facility also allows the company to maintain its operations with social distancing measures in place.

Neil Poxon, CEO at Oxford Flow said: “This new facility is the next step in our success story. With increased manufacturing capability we can build and deliver orders more efficiently to offer even higher levels of customer service. As we expand globally, this future proofs the business – enabling us to scale up as and when needed.”

Leading the team at the new facility is Oxford Flow’s new Head of Manufacturing, John Pozzoli. Pozzoli joins from Crowcon Detection Instruments where he was the Production Engineering Manager bringing a wealth of engineering and manufacturing knowledge to the role. He adds: “The new manufacturing facility allows Oxford Flow to truly capitalise on our ability to achieve world-class quality and cost optimisation for our customers.”

The new facility comes as Oxford Flow recently secured a £9.1m investment to support the company’s expansion across the utility and industrials markets, and oil and gas product development. The company designs pressure reducing valves and gas regulators, which are exceptionally smaller, lighter and more robust that comparative products. -–Tradearabia News Service
