AVEVA will showcase its industrial intelligence, artificial intelligence (AI) and digital twin technologies at ADIPEC 2026 in Abu Dhabi, highlighting how connected data can help energy companies improve operational performance, strengthen energy security and accelerate decarbonisation.
The industrial software company will participate in the
event at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from 2 to 5 November 2026. Its demonstrations
will focus on CONNECT, AVEVA’s industrial intelligence platform, which
integrates engineering, operations and enterprise data across the asset
lifecycle to support decision-making and improve efficiency across the energy
sector.
The announcement comes as Middle Eastern energy producers
face growing pressure to maintain reliable supplies while reducing emissions.
The region holds approximately half of the world’s proven oil reserves and
produces nearly a third of global oil, making it a key contributor to
international energy security.
At the same time, regional governments have set ambitious
sustainability targets. These include reducing emissions by 47% by 2035 from
2019 levels, in line with the pathway towards net zero by 2050. The UAE has
also committed to tripling its renewable energy contribution and investing up
to AED 200 billion by 2030.
AVEVA said achieving these objectives while sustaining
energy output will require operators to minimise unplanned downtime, improve
efficiency and gain better visibility across increasingly complex industrial
assets.
“Resilient energy is what economies are built on,” said
Nayef Bou Chaaya, vice president for the Middle East, Turkey and Central Asia
at AVEVA. He added that combining data and embedding intelligence across energy
systems could help maintain reliable, affordable and secure energy supplies
while supporting the region’s sustainability ambitions.
Industrial intelligence and AI demonstrations
At Hall 4, booth 4410, AVEVA will demonstrate how CONNECT
supports the full asset lifecycle, from design and construction to operation,
maintenance and optimisation.
Live demonstrations will cover data-centric engineering,
digital twin foundations, AI-driven asset health monitoring and Industrial
Knowledge Graphs. Visitors will also learn how ADNOC uses AVEVA solutions to
generate operational value and how organisations can connect their own large
language models to industrial data through the CONNECT MCP Server.
The company will also present AVEVA Unified Supply Chain,
AVEVA Process Optimization and AVEVA Predictive Asset Optimization. These
solutions are designed to help operators anticipate potential problems,
evaluate different operating scenarios and improve performance across the value
chain.
AVEVA will exhibit alongside regional partner Al Masaood
Energy at Hall 4, booth 4210. The companies will showcase a living digital twin
that connects engineering and operational data, providing operators with a
consolidated view of energy consumption and emissions.
Executive participation and motorsport technology
AVEVA executives will participate in the ADIPEC Strategic
Conference on Tuesday, 3 November. Chief executive Caspar Herzberg is scheduled
to join a panel discussion titled “Technology Rewired: Partnerships and the New
Energy Landscape” in Plenary Hall B from 11:25 am to 11:55 am.
Moresh Wankhede, director of AI strategy and adoption at
AVEVA, will present the company’s industrial AI capabilities at the AI
Auditorium at 12:30 pm.
The exhibition will also highlight AVEVA’s technology
partnership with Porsche Motorsport’s Formula E team, established in 2025. The
collaboration uses race, vehicle and system data to support performance
analytics, data visualisation and industrial AI applications.
According to AVEVA, the partnership contributed to
data-driven performance improvements as the Porsche Formula E team won the
2025/26 Drivers’ and Manufacturers’ World Championships. Visitors will be able
to experience the technology through a racing simulator featuring a full race
seat, steering rig and large-screen display.
Through its ADIPEC programme, AVEVA aims to demonstrate how industrial data integration, AI and digital twins can help energy operators balance operational efficiency, supply reliability and emissions reduction as the sector adapts to changing energy demands. -OGN/TradeArabia News Service
