Refinery planned

Saudi Aramco plans to build a refinery in northeast China's Qingdao with Sinopec, a senior Saudi Aramco official said.

'The Qingdao refinery is in the feasibility study stage,' said Khalid Buainain, vice president of Saudi Aramco's refining division.
'The planned capacity for this refinery will be 250,000 barrels per day (bpd),' he said, adding that the refinery will take three to four years to be completed.
The crude processing capacity of Saudi Aramco's Fujian refinery project in China will also be expanded in future, he said.
