Riyadh is set to reaffirm its position as a global technology hub as LEAP returns for its fifth edition from August 31 to September 3, 2026, at RECC Malham in Saudi Arabia.
The event will gather more than 200,000 visitors, including over 1,000 speakers, 1,800 global tech brands, and 1,900 investors, alongside over 600 startups.
LEAP is co-organised by Saudi Arabia Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, and Tahaluf.
Global technology leaders from companies including Google, Amazon Web Services, AMD, Qualcomm, Cisco, Lenovo, HP, HPE, Huawei, Foxconn, and Cerebras Systems will join Saudi-based innovators such as stc, Aramco, Elm, Alat, and HUMAIN.
Senior executives including AWS CEO Matt Garman and Nokia CEO Justin Hotard are among the headline speakers.
Since its launch in 2022, LEAP has attracted over 688,000 attendees and facilitated billions of dollars in investments and announcements, including $14.9 billion in deals at its 2025 edition.
Organisers say the 2026 event will further strengthen Riyadh’s role as a hub for international technology investment and collaboration.
The programme will span more than 20 thematic stages covering climate tech, fintech, health tech, space tech, and smart cities.
A key feature, DeepFest, will return as a major AI and deep technology platform showcasing applied artificial intelligence solutions from companies including EY, Snowflake, Alteryx, Agibot, and Xerox.
New zones are also set to expand the event’s ecosystem.
GameX Creative will highlight innovation in gaming and digital media with partners such as Savvy Games Group and ESL FACEIT Group, while the Sports Tech Hub will bring together major sports organisations including the English FA, La Liga, Juventus FC, and Ferrari to explore performance and fan engagement technologies.
A new initiative, LEAP Connect, will facilitate structured networking between investors, founders, and policymakers to convert discussions into partnerships and deals.
The Investor and Startup Programme will also feature the $1 million Rocket Fuel Pitch Competition, supported by investors including PIF, SVC, and 500 Global, reinforcing Riyadh’s growing influence in global venture capital flows.
