Evonik Industries has appointed Joerg Syrzisko as the new Head of Middle East and Africa. Syrzisko succeeds Dr Hendrik Schoenfelder, who has taken the position of Regional President for Evonik in Central and South America.

Prior to joining Evonik in 2017, Syrzisko has held several international management positions in the health care and chemical industries since 1989. Bringing over 30 years of experience to his new role, he will drive Evonik's Middle East and Africa activities forward with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
