WaHa Secures $8m funding

Water Harvesting (WaHa) has completed an $8 million Series A-1 financing and corporate reorganisation, eliminating all debt and providing capital for the company’s next commercial milestones.

The funding also supports a growing pipeline of qualified sales opportunities across the UAE and GCC.

WaHa’s atmospheric water generation (AWG) systems have been deployed in challenging environments since 2023, achieving 99.998 per cent mechanical reliability and producing 98.3 per cent of target water volume.

The company’s proprietary WaHa Vaporator technology, a modular system supporting off-grid installations and integration with HVAC and agricultural systems, has been granted 18 patents worldwide.

The round was led by Mike Phillips Chairman and Christian Thirion Board member, with participation from Berkeley Catalyst Fund, Anthropocene Institute, Vestafund, and Mitsui Mining & Smelting.
