Background

Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) plans to construct a separation facility at GC-25 as well as water injection facilities at GCs-29 & 30.

Project Scope

The project scope includes a separation facility with 300 million barrels of liquid per day (mblpd) capacity and an effluent water treatment facility with 240 million barrels of water per day (mbwpd) capacity at GC-25 with a centralised laboratory, centralised water injection facility at GC-30 with a 500 mbwpd capacity, and modified pipeline connections.

As of July 2025, the bidding deadline for the main contract has been extended to August 10, 2025.
