The Africa Energy Expo 2025 will gather industry leaders to showcase how artificial intelligence is being applied across Africa’s energy landscape.
Set to take place from November 25 to 27 at the Kigali Convention Centre in Rwanda, the exhibition floor will feature smart grid technologies, predictive analytics, renewable integration solutions, and the latest innovations driving smarter utility management.
The expo will be complemented by the Africa Energy Leadership Summit, which will host a session titled "AI Revolution or Evolution? Assessing Africa’s Pathway to Smart Utility Management."
Leading experts will debate whether AI represents a revolutionary leap or an evolutionary step for Africa’s utilities, addressing critical challenges in data, connectivity, and skills.
This forum will bring together leading experts to discuss the implications of artificial intelligence for African utilities, focusing on pressing challenges related to data, connectivity, and workforce skills.
The summit will convene ministers, CEOs, investors, and innovators to discuss strategic priorities such as energy access, infrastructure resilience, and affordable innovation, under the theme: "Powering Africa’s Next Chapter."
Over 100 exhibitors will present innovative energy solutions, while more than 50 industry leaders will engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD)-accredited discussions addressing key energy challenges in Africa.
Key topics will include the adaptation of business models for decentralised and digital energy systems, fostering cross-sector alliances, and harnessing advanced technologies like AI and edge computing.
