Dacke Industri has acquired 70 per cent of Hydronit, an Italian specialist in modular hydraulic power units for mobile, industrial, and marine applications, with the remaining shares retained by the current owner.

Hydronit will join Dacke’s Fluid Power Technology division, enhancing expertise in power transmissions, motion, and control solutions.

The company, headquartered in Varedo near Milan, develops patented Smart Power Units featuring embedded PLCs, sensors, PWM power output, and IoT capabilities, supporting customers from design to production.

Hydronit also operates subsidiaries in China, the UK, and an associated company in the US, employing around 30 people with an annual turnover of approximately €9 million ($10.5 million).

The acquisition strengthens Dacke’s European presence and expands its portfolio of innovative hydraulic solutions.
