Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and Indonesia’s Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) have signed a new research agreement to advance ammonia-based clean power generation.

Building on prior collaboration, the partnership focuses on ammonia combustion, aiming to enhance understanding of its safe and effective application in gas turbine systems.

Through sustained joint research, MHI, Mitsubishi Power, and ITB seek to strengthen technical knowledge to support practical ammonia use in power generation, contributing to Indonesia’s decarbonisation goals.
