TotalEnergies has signed two long-term power purchase agreements to supply 1 GW of solar capacity, equivalent to 28 TWh over 15 years, to power Google data centres in Texas.
Electricity will come from the Wichita (805 MWp) and Mustang Creek (195 MWp) solar projects, with construction set to begin in Q2 2026.
The deals complement separate 1.2 GW PPAs secured by Clearway Energy, partly owned by TotalEnergies, across key US power markets.
The new solar farms are expected to create hundreds of construction jobs and generate significant tax revenues, supporting local public services while expanding reliable renewable power capacity for growing AI-driven energy demand.
