Outreach programmes are another way Aramco and its staff are impacting the Kingdom's society

Big footprints have been made by Aramco in Saudi Arabia based on its contribution to the nation’s economy, its position as a top employer and its leadership role in bringing technological advancement and first-class business practices to the Kingdom.

The importance of the company’s role continues to grow, as it develops even more outreach vehicles to touch the lives of the Kingdom’s citizens. New initiatives are receiving thoughtful consideration, in an attempt to further the programme.
Outreach programs with a long history of service to the nation, such as the mobile library program and the children’s art contest, provide access to educational materials and an emphasis on creativity for students under the age of 14.
Orphaned children are made happy during the holy month of Ramadan and religious ‘Id holidays by the company’s ‘Id gifts for orphans programme to bring donated toys and gifts to those disadvantaged by a lack of a family atmosphere.
Saudi Aramco also joined with the Saudi Government’s initiatives and sponsored events under the 2003 theme of “Traffic Rules Guarantee Safety.” Company employees gave traffic safety presentations and distributed traffic safety awareness materials in major cities across the Kingdom.
Children and adults alike flock to the Saudi Aramco Exhibit in Dhahran for special historical, industrial and visiting exhibits. Hosting more than 100,000 visitors each year, the Exhibit welcomes world leaders and dignitaries as well as students and families from throughout the Kingdom and region.
