International Paint has been present in the Middle East protective coatings and marine market since the early 1970s, and more than two decades ago strengthened its operations in Saudi Arabia by commissioning a modern factory in 1983.

International Paint Saudi Arabia is a joint venture with Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo – one of the largest businesses in the Middle East – which provides significant operating advantages. International Paint retains full management control over manufacturing operations and operates as per business unit (BU) corporate global rules.
The Saudi manufacturing facility and main office is based in Dammam, with warehousing and sales offices located throughout the kingdom including Jeddah. Products are exported to GCC and neighbouring states including Kuwait, Bahrain, the UAE, Oman, Egypt, Yemen, Iran and Sudan.
International Paint believes that its people are its greatest resource and has extensive training and development programmes and a comprehensive annual review with all its staff. Local employment is high with an overall percentage of over 51 per cent of the employees being Saudi nationals, including at the management level.
