Egypt Mining Forum ... linking policy, investment and expertise

Cairo will take centre stage this September as global mining leaders gather for Egypt Mining Forum 2026, an event that aims to accelerate the region’s transformation into a world-class mining destination.

Taking place from September 28–29, 2026, at The St. Regis New Capital, the forum will spotlight the theme “Unlocking Egypt and the Arabian Nubian Shield’s Exploration Potential,” bringing together ministers, senior government officials, investors, and industry executives from across the globe.

As the region’s leading mining platform, the forum will connect policy, investment, and technical expertise to advance Egypt’s modern mining economy.

Discussions will focus on strengthening investment confidence, enhancing licensing frameworks, and unlocking high-value exploration opportunities across gold, base metals, phosphates, and critical minerals.

With participation from over 6,000 attendees, 100 exhibitors, and representatives from more than 50 countries, the event reflects growing international interest in Egypt’s underexplored geology and strategic position within the Arabian Nubian Shield.

The forum will feature a dual-track programme, combining a Strategic Conference and a Technical Conference.

The Strategic Conference will convene policymakers, global mining CEOs, and financial institutions to address sector reforms, investment flows, and pathways from exploration to production.

Meanwhile, the Technical Conference will provide practical insights for geologists, engineers, and exploration specialists, focusing on improving discovery success and operational performance across the mining lifecycle.
