AIAC will explore improve industrial efficiency and cybersecurity

The Asset Integrity, Automation and Cybersecurity Conference (AIAC West Africa 2026) will take place on June 9-10, 2026 in Lagos, Nigeria, bringing together industry leaders, technical experts and solution providers from across the oil and gas sector.

The event will focus on key operational challenges in asset integrity, corrosion management, coatings, cathodic protection, instrumentation, automation and industrial cybersecurity. 

It aims to support improvements in operational efficiency, infrastructure reliability and cyber resilience across energy assets in the region.

AIAC West Africa 2026 will convene asset owners, operators, EPC contractors and technology providers to share insights and explore emerging technologies shaping modern energy operations in Africa. 

The technical programme will cover asset integrity and reliability management, corrosion control, process automation and optimisation, and cybersecurity risk mitigation. 

Sessions will include expert presentations, panel discussions and case studies focused on improving safety, performance and operational standards.

The conference will be chaired by Dr Gbenga Owolabi, Commercial Manager at ANOH Gas Processing Company, while a keynote address will be delivered by Audu Ibrahim, Managing Director of NNPC Gas Infrastructure Company. 

Discussions will focus on infrastructure development, resilience and digital transformation within Nigeria’s energy sector.

An exhibition will run alongside the conference, showcasing technologies in corrosion protection, coatings, cathodic protection, inspection systems, instrumentation, automation and cybersecurity solutions.

The event is organised by Aldrich Energy in partnership with GEXPERTS Consultoria, with support from institutions including the Petroleum Training Institute, CSEAN, PTDF and WEOG. 

Participating organisations include NNPC, NLNG, ANOH Gas Processing, Seplat, Ghana Gas, TotalEnergies, Shell, Renaissance Africa Energy Company, Sonangol and others.

The conference will also provide networking opportunities for engineers, asset integrity professionals, operators and technology specialists, facilitating collaboration between national oil companies, international oil companies, EPC firms and service providers.

 It aims to support knowledge exchange and the adoption of best practices in asset integrity and digital transformation across West Africa’s energy sector.
