The event aims to promote clean energy transition and efficient energy use

Egypt Energy 2026, now in its 35th edition, is North Africa’s leading energy trade show, showcasing technologies across the full energy value chain.

It will take place from October 12-14, 2026 at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre in Cairo, bringing together more than 200 exhibitors, over 12,000 industry professionals, more than 100 speakers, and seven conferences focused on the future of energy in the region.

Exhibits will include power generation systems, energy storage and management solutions, high and low voltage cables, transmission and distribution technologies, solar energy systems, and broader renewable energy innovations.

The event will be held under the theme, “Leading the Renewable Revolution: Investment Strategies for Clean Energy Transformation”.

It will convene public and private sector leaders to discuss investment strategies for scaling renewable capacity, strengthening national grid infrastructure, and advancing Egypt’s emerging green hydrogen economy.

The conference will also examine regulatory frameworks, technology adoption, and partnerships required to support Egypt’s long term energy transition.

A key feature of the event is the Egypt Energy Leadership Summit, scheduled for October 12-13.

The summit will focus on Egypt’s Integrated Sustainable Energy Strategy (ISES), which targets 42 per cent renewable electricity generation by 2030.

Discussions will include large scale solar and wind deployment, mobilising an estimated $60 billion in green hydrogen investment, and expanding cross border interconnections of up to 3,900 MW to position Egypt as a regional energy hub.

Key topics include renewable energy scaling, grid modernisation, clean energy financing, hydrogen development, digital transformation of energy systems, and cross border energy cooperation.

The summit will also explore opportunities for startups and strategies to strengthen local content in energy projects.

On October 14, the Technical Excellence Forum will showcase emerging technologies supporting Egypt’s energy transition.

It will highlight innovations in clean energy systems, smart grids, AI driven optimisation, energy storage, and digital infrastructure for resilient cities.

Co-located with FIREX Egypt, the exhibition will also highlight fire safety solutions, including fire prevention systems, detection technologies, suppression systems, and emergency response equipment, further expanding the scope of industry engagement.
