More co-operation has been urged between various players in the electronic cards payments industry so that consumer expectations can be met by UAE’s cards industry leader Network International.

Speaking at the recent Cards Middle East Exhibition in Dubai, company’s chairman Abdulla Qassem said: “There is an exponential advance in technology on all fronts of the cards industry and this is going to accelerate in the future. In this scenario, it is imperative for the various solutions providers to integrate the benefits of these innovations for the ultimate benefit and convenience of the end consumer.”

Network International, a technology leader in the industry, showcased some of its introductions in the Middle East at an exhibition stand branded ‘Flavours of the World’.

“We understand that the consumer is only interested in a seamless experience that adds value to their lifestyle. While the electronic payment industry is advancing in leaps and bounds – both in terms of hardware and software technologies – the ultimate test of these innovations is whether they significantly benefit the end consumer. To achieve this, we need robust partnerships within the industry”, said Qassem.

Network International has remained the pioneer in the regional cards industry in terms of technological advances, whether in the contact-less card technical expertise or EMV-compliant smart cards. It provides end-to-end solutions to both streams of the cards business - cards management and operational services for financial institutions as well as card payment solutions for merchants.
