TRIPLEFASTt Middle East, part of the UK-based Lone Star PRD Group of Companies, is the region’s leading manufacturer and supplier of extensive range of bolting, engineering parts, sealing components and specialist coatings for the oil, gas, petrochemical, power and associated heavy engineering industries.
Burgeoning demand for high quality components for the Middle East’s energy development projects convinced Lone Star PRD the need to establish a base in the Middle East and in 2002 the group established Triplefast Middle East.
Operating primarily from the UAE, it has fast established itself as the group’s one of the most significant global operation with a staff of 145 and an inventory of over $15 million in petrochemical, power generation, and sealing materials. Triplefast Middle East now supplies to 27 countries from its UAE hub, which includes the Middle East, North Africa, the Caspian and India.
This has enabled Triplefast to remain the market leader in the manufacture and supply of fasteners including stud bolts, hexagon bolts, hexagon setscrews, double ended studs, and associated engineering components in carbon, alloy and stainless materials for single purchase and bulk supply whilst developing the supply of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and specialist petrochemical parts.
The company’s position has been further strengthened in 2010 by its investment in a fully integrated CNC facility utilising the latest computer aided design and manufacturing techniques, which has enabled it to machine highly exotic materials and supply them to various standards or customer specific requirements.
In addition, large stocks of exotic raw materials are maintained within the UAE to meet critical deliveries.
In 2007, Triplefast Middle East commenced the manufacture and supply of specialist sealing products from its dedicated manufacturing facility within the UAE and quickly developed a reputation for the supply of quality standard and bespoke gaskets and associated products.
This area of its business has continued to develop throughout 2008 and 2009 and as such Triplefast can now boast a diverse range of products which include ring joints, spiral wound, metal clad, soft cut and insulation gaskets.
Triplefast has also developed in conjunction with leading coating suppliers a diverse range of industrial coatings for its key industry areas. The company also performs specialist coatings for some of the regions leading OEMs and EPC companies on a wide range of components, in addition to its own manufactured parts.
In the fourth quarter of 2010, Triplefast will launch the first of its own coatings developed in conjunction with Whitford Technologies. Called “TME 7000”, it has been developed to position it to become a market leader by providing a cost effective solution for extreme corrosion resistance in offshore applications.
Triplefast Middle East is an ISO 9001 registered company and holds major manufacturing approvals with all major end users, OEMs and EPC companies.
From its conception, Triplefast has supplied products in excess of $100 million to a diverse range of customers, manufacturing and supplying orders from single item purchase to multi-million dollar contracts and supply agreements.
